Suggestions so far:

* What about everyone sends an electronic copy of a song or 2 that they want played on the night of the saturday..? That way the music will be loved by all... Hopefully we'd get music from the time and some of our more grown-up tastes...

* What about all the guys grow mullets and girls get perms in honour of our late 80's hairstyles?

* If the date is further flexible i'd suggest the weekend of 29/30 december would be better for most. It means everyone who lives afar doesn't have to travel twice in a short space of time (as I assume was one of the original aims of the first date). Also many people are home and still have a chance to do something for nye... What do people think?

* Put together a book with a before and after.  I think people would be interested to see what we thought about life back then.  The date sounds good as a lot of people would be more inclined to come home
around Xmas.

* We could have “surprise guests” and get a teacher or few involved.  We could even get a teacher to do a roll call! That would be funny!

* Can we put an e-mail list on this site?

* Have option of links to peoples websites/emails on this website.

* Lets all wear our vd dinner dresses or deb dresses, cause they are all so pretty.

* ...about the date... what do you think about making it the sunday.... some people might have to work on a saturday.  Or maybe have the function on sat night and recovery on sunday? hmmm.

* The only thing I would probably query at the minute just looking at the below would possibly be the date. If anyone is like me it is not my turn to have Christmas at home this year and so I won't be back until Boxing Day morning .. not so sure that I would fancy driving down on the Saturday before and then driving back on the Sunday to turn around a drive back for Boxing Day on the Wednesday! Also I have my big work function on the Friday night the 21st December so won't be able to come down any early ... I was also thinking that if it is anything like us people have so much on from the end of November through until Christmas that it might be best to have it say mid November or even early January if you need more time to organise stuff (although I know that this then wouldn't technically be in our 20 years!). Just a thought but it would be a shame to put in a lot of hard work to then have people not come because they have other family/friend or work functions that they are already committed to.

* Other ideas that I know other reunions have done is have a function on the Saturday night at say the Pub or the Tavern and then had a BBQ on the Sunday so that people could bring their families .. sometimes this is good as you can relax have a drink and enjoy catching up with people on the Saturday night and then bring your family on the Sunday to meet everyones kids (or partners if they didn't bring them on the Saturday night).
